Our commitment to data protection and whistleblower anonymity is governed by the highest standards of integrity and the 1999 mandate of ACIC.
All information processing complies with our certified quality management systems.
Since its inception in 1999, the Anti Corruption Intelligence Committee (ACIC) has prioritized the privacy of those who stand against injustice. This policy outlines our rigorous procedures for managing personal data and investigative intelligence provided by our 150,000+ members and the general public.
We collect data solely for the purpose of combating corruption and supporting fundamental rights. This includes:
This is a zero-negotiation clause.
ACIC utilizes identity-masking protocols for whistleblowers. Information concerning reported fraud is shared with enforcement agencies (CVC, CBI, or Police) only after ensuring the physical and mental protection of the informant, in consonance with the PIDPI Resolution 2014.
Data is protected using 256-bit SSL encryption. Our internal database access is restricted to the National Executive Committee members only. We conduct regular security audits to ensure that no unauthorized person can gain access to our intelligence logs.
Investigative data is retained only as long as necessary for legal prosecution or systemic reform. Once a case is officially closed by the judicial system, sensitive informant details are archived in a secure offline vault.
